Mission
Embers of Hope is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to paying for the mental health therapy of human trafficking victims. We strive to reduce the barriers that can often come with accessing therapeutic services, which then prevents healing and restoration. Our mission is to create a safe space for survivors to heal and reclaim their lives from the trauma of exploitation.
Our Approach
Embers of Hope is dedicated to addressing the significant barriers trafficking victims can face in accessing therapeutic treatment due to insurance limitations, inadequate financial aid, and limited access to appropriate levels of treatment. We advocate for greater equity in mental health care by working to eliminate the financial obstacles that prevent individuals from receiving the support they need. Through outreach and community partnerships, Embers of Hope strives to improve access to affordable therapeutic services, specifically for those impacted by trafficking and exploitation. By offering resources, financial assistance, and navigating insurance complexities, the nonprofit ensures that therapy becomes an accessible and sustainable option for everyone, regardless of their financial or insurance situation.
